Police are investigating a new case of online fraud after a 57-year-old man reported a loss of over €30,000 in cryptocurrency investments.
The victim claimed to have been lured into a fraudulent investment scheme on a specific website, where he was encouraged to invest in cryptocurrencies by an online contact. Upon realising the website was fake, he discovered the substantial loss.
Authorities are now probing the incident, urging the public to be vigilant against online scams.
